Varsity Tennis

Coach: Jill Corr

From Coach Corr: Scoring for Varsity Tennis consists of a total of seven team points per team match.  The six singles courts score one point and the doubles courts score one point per best out of three courts. Among the last three matches against Watkinson, Christian Heritage, and Worcester, the Williams School has scored 20 out of a possible 21 points. The April 26th match against Worcester Academy resulted in a decisive 7-0 victory for Williams against a team that has challenged us over the last few years. More importantly, our Varsity Team has demonstrated both maturity and good sportsmanship on the tennis court.  Our players are quick to compliment their opponents on points well played and they support their teammates both on and off the court. Congratulations to the Varsity Tennis Team on a job well done. Lastly, many thanks to our parents who have provided delicious snacks for both home and away games. Special thanks go to Kimberly Esty, team mom, for organizing snacks. And, thanks to Brian Klee and Robyn Wolman for assisting during practices.  Keep up the exceptional work, Williams Varsity Tennis!
