Senior Parent Gift 2008

Head of School Mark Fader surveys the art studio under construction

Under the leadership of Ed LaFreniere and Ted Potter, parents and grandparents of the Class of 2008 joined to renovate Williams’ Fine Art facilities to transform the art studios into places where students are inspired to create their works of art. The former work tables, counter tops and cabinetry were legacies from the former science wing equipment, and lacked the space and storage for an excellent arts facility.

The new studio design space will include art tables and stools as well as flat files, hanging racks, locker storage, and an exceptionally bright, fixed-installation projector to enhance instruction with robust visual aids.
