Welcome to The Williams School!
When you come onto The Williams School campus you can immediately feel a collective, positive energy among the students, faculty, and staff.
We work very hard to get to know all of our students in hopes of developing them into successful college scholars, lifelong learners, and self-advocating young adults. As a result, our students learn to lead, inspire, and serve others.
Our academic program is traditional, yet forward thinking. All of our courses are college preparatory, and we require all of our students to take at least one year of Latin. This year, we are excited to adopt an advanced courses program for our upper school students. These advanced courses go beyond the constraints of the AP curriculum, allowing our students and faculty the freedom and flexibility to explore subjects with greater depth. Throughout all grades, our curriculum focuses on relevance, synthesis of ideas and critical thinking. A strong emphasis on study skills, particularly in the middle school, builds a child’s foundation for success.
We provide a learning experience that is appropriate for each stage of a student’s academic and emotional development and our extracurricular opportunities in athletics and the arts promote our students’ physical and intellectual growth.
All of our students, faculty, and administration enjoy being a part of a caring and committed community where responsible and thoughtful behavior is the standard. At Williams, teachers, administrators and coaches are advisors, mentors, and friends that encourage our students to take meaningful risks in a safe and supportive environment.
I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about all the wonderful opportunities that The Williams School has to offer. I am excited by the many different ways in which we can have an immediate and long-lasting impact on all of our young men and women. For a glimpse into daily life at Williams, be sure to visit my weekly blog of interesting and exciting events happening at our school.
I look forward to having a chance to meet when you come to campus!
