Middle School Moving Up
Posted 06/01/2017 11:34AM

On Monday, June 5 our community gathered together in Evans Hall, Connecticut College to celebrate the moving-up of our middle school students. Each year we recognize each 8th grade student received The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown presented by Jane Hannon, Assistant Head of School for Program, and heard an eloquent citation read by Macy Kleinfelder, Dean of Student Affairs, and faculty members Stella Barth, Joe Cote, Peter Emanuel, and Tekla Zweir.

Additionally we were delighted with the following performances: Nocturne op 9, No 2 performed by Arielle Frommer, Can’t Help Falling in Love performed by Emiko Fletcher, Mary Madaus, and Gabriella Seidel, and Waltz in A Minor, performed by Alessandra D’Arcy.                                                               .

Lastly, we heard words of wisdom from this year's 8th grade class leaders: Ozzie Alam, Rebecca Cohn, Mary Madaus, and Lauren Rolla.

Congrats to the Class of 2021!
