Mark "Joe" Sullivan '19 is already known as an excellent swimmer, but now he's got a new set of skills to be proud of - his ability to act. He and his father, Mark Sullivan, recently completed work on a cinematic thriller entitled Anders Manor. The film centers around a young woman who has checked herself into an insane asylum, and the two Sullivans play Young Nicklaus and Nicklaus, respectively, who is a monstrous serial killer. Their leads and costars include actors from the crime drama Dexter, the rambunctious comedy Magic Mike, a rock musician, and a professional wrestler.
Mark Sullivan was originally cast as Nicklaus and then Joe was cast as the younger version largely based on familial resemblance, but he soon proved his talents to the director and earned additional screen time as a result. The film wrapped last fall and now that the paperwork is finalized, it should be premiering in the near future.
