Holiday spirit abounds!
On Wednesday, students participated in an Ugly Sweater contest during Snack, competing for sashes declaring their sweaters the Most Flammable, Most Rash Inducing, Most Creative, and of course, Ugliest.

On Monday, the seniors gave the school the gift of performing their holiday skit during Assembly; a heartwarming and humorous interpretive blending of The Polar Express and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, complete with a cameo from Chewbacca.

The sixth graders in Señora Cohen's Introduction to Modern Language course studied the lives and works of three classical Spanish artists: Velázquez, El Greco, and Goya, and were then asked to critque their favorite paintings. They also studied modern Spanish artists, namely Picasso, Miró, and Dalí, and displayed their artistic talent by creating a replica of a chosen work of art, photographed here.

Students in our advanced Criminals in Literature class participated in a Dante themed Jeopardy! tournament on Tuesday morning, "hosted" by teacher and former real-life Jeopardy! contestant Cory Harris.

Students gathered together in the Student Center on Tuesday during 9th period to decorate sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies and celebrate before LABs begin on Thursday.
