XC Race at Choate

The Williams School traveled to Wallingford today for a 5K cross country race hosted by Choate Rosemary Hall. Participating teams included: Avon Old Farms School, Bradford, Christian Academy, Cheshire Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall, Greenwich Academy, Kingswood Oxford School, Loomis Chaffee School, Miss Porter’s School, Trinity-Pawling School, Westminster School, Westover School, and the Williams School.
 
Scoring for the boys' team: Hartmut Doerwaldt, '21, earned 15th place with a time of 19:21, Philip Knowlton, '22, earned 19th place with a time of 19:40, Hunter Dolphin, '20, earned 38th place with a time of 21:36, Colin Ladd, '19, earned 46th place with a time of 22:20, Jasper Wright, '22, earned 79th place with a time of 25:79, ( Jackson Meisner, '21, earned 90th place with a time 27:35, and Zheng (John) Lian, '21, earned 97th place with a time of 29:17).
 
Scoring for the girls' team: Mary Madaus, '21, earned 10th place with a time of 22:58, Grace Cassineri, '22, earned 33rd place with a time of 26:23, Anna Terry, '21, earned 55th place with a time of 29:37, Katie Burzin, '20, earned 62nd place with a time of 30:09 and Carly Straub, '22, earned 71st place with a time of 30:41. 
 
Individual scores for the boys' team: William Palmer, '22, earned 64th place with a time of 31:52, and Michael Silverio, '19, earned 68th place with a time of 41:16.
