The Williams School hosted a 5K cross country race today for their annual Sports Day and Homecoming celebration. Participating teams included: Fishers Island School, the Watkinson School, and the Williams School.
 
The The Williams School Boy's team placed first with a total score of 19 points. Scoring for the boys' team: Hartmut Doerwaldt, '21, earned 1st place with a time of 20:03, Philip Knowlton, '22, earned 2nd place with a time of 20:18, Hunter Dolphin, '20, earned 4th place with a time of 22:04, Colin Ladd, '19, earned 5th place with a time of 23:30, Jasper Wright, '22, earned 7th place with a time of 25:03, (Jackson Meisner, '21, earned 10th place with a time  of 26:01, and Michael Silverio, '19, earned 20th place with a time of 41:14).
 
The Williams School Girls' team placed first with a total score of 15 points. Scoring for the girls' team: Mary Madaus, '21, earned 1st place with a time of 25:22, Farrah Scott, '24, earned 2nd place with a time of 25:54, Grace Cassineri, '22, earned 3rd place with a time of 26:22, Ella Aiden-Atherton, '24, earned 4th place with a time of 27:21, Anna Terry, '21, earned 6th place with a time of 29:52, (Carly Straub, '22, earned 7th place with a time of 30:03, and Katie Burzin, '20, earned 8th place with a time of 30:33).
