The Williams School traveled to the Westminster school in Simsbury, CT today for a 5K Cross Country Invitational race today. Participating teams included: Westminster, Deerfield Academy, Williston North Hampton, Suffield Academy, Kent School, Canterbury School, Salisbury, Worcester Academy, Ethel Walker, Kingswood Oxford, and the Williams Cool. There were 70 participating athletes in the varsity boys' race and 67 in the varsity girls' race.
 
The The Williams School Varsity Boy's team placed 8th with a total score of 219 points. Scoring for the boys' team: Philip Knowlton, '22, earned 23rd place with a time of 19:48, Hartmut Doerwaldt, '21, earned 24th place with a time of 19:51, Hunter Dolphin, '20, earned 54th place with a time of 21:42, Colin Ladd, '19, earned 58th place with a time of 22:32, Jasper Wright, '22, earned 65th place with a time of 24:39, and Jackson Meisner, '21, earned 69th place with a time  of 25:23.
 
The Williams School Varsity Girls' team placed 10th with a total score of 253 points. Scoring for the girls' team: Grace Cassineri, '22, earned 34th place with a time of 24:58, Sydney Swann, '22, earned 50th place with a time of 27:50, Anna Terry, '21, earned 54th place with a time of 28:59,  Katie Burzin, '20, earned 55th place with a time of 29:02, Carly Straub, '22, earned 60th place with a time of 29:34, and Vasishnavi Ladd, "22, earned 66th place with a time of 30:28.
