Boys & Girls both finished 2nd.

The Williams School Cross Country Team traveled to Grandby, Massachusetts today for the 2018 Pete Blanchet SENE - 11/2/2018 - Cross Country Championship 5K race hosted by the MacDuffie School. Participants included: The Eagle Hill School, the MacDuffie School, Providence Country Day School, Rocky Hill School (Rhode Island), St. Andrews School, and the Williams School.
 
The Williams School Boys' team placed second with an overall team score of 62 points. Scoring for the Williams School: Hartmut Doerwaldt, '21, earned 1st place with a time of 17:47, Philip Knowlton, '22, earned 3rd place with a time of 18:47, Hunter Dolphin, '20, earned 15th place with a time of 21:04, Colin Ladd, '19, earned 16th place with a time of 21:06, Jackson Meisner, '21, earned 27th place with a time of 22:31, (Jasper Wright, '22, earned 29th place with a time of 22:46, and Zheng Lian, '21, earned 32nd place with a time of 23:24).
 
The Williams School Girls' team placed second with an overall team score of 33 points. Scoring for the Williams School: Mary Madaus, '21, earned 1st place with a time of 20:33, Grace Cassineri, '22, earned 7th place with a time of 23:42, Helen Godshall, '24, earned 8th place with a time of 24:14, Sydney Swann, '22, earned 10th place with a time of 25:54, Anna Terry, '21, earned 11th place with a time of 26:22, ( Beatrice Palmer, '24, earned 12th place with a time of 26:31, and Carly Straub, '22, earned17th place with a time of 27:21).
