The Williams Swim Team has had a very successful and record-breaking season.
Williams' Varsity Swim Team had quite a night on Wednesday, January 23 during a meet against Hamden Hall Country Day School and Christian Heritage School. The Girls placed first while the Boys placed second (see scores below). Swimming Coach Dana Clark shares, "Our athletes did wonderfully, many swimming their best times or swimming events they’ve never swam before. We even had the chance to see Lucy Fader open the meet with diving.” Many records have already been broken this year, so special congratulations are in order for Grace Cassineri '22, Alessandra D’Arcy '21, Ellie Fader '21, and Elizabeth Merryweather '21.

Following this successful meet, the Williams' Varsity Swim Team took on Eagle Hill School and Bancroft School on Monday, January 28 in a tri-meet at Eagle Hill. Williams won against both teams, scoring 65 to 29 against Bancroft and 63 to 31 against Eagle Hill. Congratulations to Alessandra D'Arcy '21, Grace Cassineri '22, Elizabeth Li '21, and Elizabeth Merryweather '21 for breaking the school record for the Girls 400 Medley Relay.
There are three more upcoming meets, two of which are championships. "The team has gone nearly undefeated so far this season, showing great sportsmanship while coming together to swim their best times and support one another," Dana proudly reflected.
