Students Learn the Dangers of Distracted Driving

The Distracted Driving Program made a stop at Williams on their Save a Life Tour during Wednesday's X Block.
The program has been educating students about drunk driving since 2002 and has expanded their focus to the dangers of texting and driving, which has become an increasingly serious problem over time.
Following a presentation on the subject, students were encouraged to experience the simulator, which is designed to address the very real and often fatal consequences of poor choices behind the wheel.
"How fast you lose control is surprising. Even when you don't crash, you're still swerving all over the road," Finny Ensminger '20 reflected. "It gave me a lot to think about."
