Spanish Students Self-Reflect

Señor Cohen's Spanish I class recently completed their "Espejo" (Mirror) projects and they are now on display in the catwalk.
Each student created an old-fashioned hand-held "mirror" out of cardboard, which they decorated with images that reflect who they are and what they like to do, along with roughly ten sentences of Spanish text in which they describe themselves. They were required to integrate a number of grammatical structures they studied in the third quarter into the text, as well as appropriate vocabulary. "As you can see from the photos, the ‘espejos’ turned out beautifully, demonstrating artistry and creativity in addition to solid Spanish skills, and the students seemed genuinely proud of their work," Señor Cohen said.
