Amazing win!

The Williams School Girls Varsity team was victorious in their league semifinal game against Christian Heritage School, 4-1. The Blues played an excellent game moving the ball well and controlling possession. Christian Heritage scored first after eight minutes after putting away a tidy through ball. However, Williams responded with a ridiculous shot from halfway that barely looped in between the keeper's hand and the cross bar. The Blues put another goal up with a solid finish from Skylar Frost (Junior). After the half, Williams were first to strike with a penalty from Frost after a handball. Marlee Anselmi (Sophomore) scored the final goal of the game with a looping shot from outside the box that landed in the top right hand corner. The Blues were bolstered with strong defensive showings from Sophia Guinan (Sophomore) in Midfield and Katelyn Harvey (Junior) in defense. The HVAL Final will take place at Williams on Saturday where the Blues will face off against Wooster School of Danbury, Connecticut.
