Tough loss
Williams Girls Varsity, unfortunately, lost 4-5 at home to Wooster School in the HVAL Finals at home. Phoebe Taylor (Senior) opened up the scoring after putting away a rebounded shot off the goalie. Wooster equalized with ten minutes to go in the half, before Phoebe Taylor put the Blues up again with a breakaway run from half field. Wooster started the second half strong with four goals in the first 20 minutes of the half to go up 5-2. With 10 minutes to go, Skylar Frost (Junior) scored two free kicks to make it 5-4, but unfortunately it was too late. It was a phenomenal season from the Blues, HVAL Runners Up, and congratulations to Wooster on being champions.
