For students entering Grades 4-6

Art & Wellness Camp

 

Explore your creativity and mindfulness through interactive art and wellness activities. Have fun in the art studios and connect with nature through drawing, painting, yoga, meditation, journaling, making friendship bracelets, tie dye, and more. Ms. Zweir has a 200 hour YTT certification and is certified in Yin Yoga. Must be entering 4th – 6th grade this fall.

Cost: $210

Location: The Williams School, on the campus of Connecticut College

Time: Morning Session 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

For students entering Grades 9-12

Photography

Explore Photography with “Ms. Griz”! Using many forms of Photography from pinhole, to dark room, to digital, explore image making using a variety of techniques, skills, and styles! Must be entering 9th – 12th grade this fall.

Cost: $210 per week

Location: The Williams School, on the campus of Connecticut College

Theatre Camp

Explore your dramatic side in this musical theatre intensive camp. During each week, students will be able to audition for roles, participate in music and acting rehearsals, and engage in the technical aspects of theatre to perform a showcase for families and friends. Must be entering 4th – 6th grade this fall.

Cost: $210 per week

Basketball Camp

 

A highly experienced coaching staff will lead players through skills training in shooting, passing, dribbling and more, as well as scrimmaging and community building activities. The camp will accelerate each player’s understanding of the sport, sharpen skills, and encourage good sportsmanship and camaraderie. Must be entering 4th – 9th grade this fall.

Cost: $210 per week

For students entering Grades 7-9

On The Water Paddle & Sail Camp

Learn the basics of small boat sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding while exploring the Avery Point coastline and islands located at the mouth of the Thames River. Must be entering 7th – 9th grade this fall.

Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing for being on and in the water and to bring a full change of clothes, a towel, water shoes, and a reusable water bottle. Personal flotation devices (PFD’s) will be provided.

Cost: $210 per week

Location: UCONN Avery Point Sailing Center

For students entering Grades 4-9

Soccer Camp

Our Summer Soccer Camp offers an outstanding and highly experienced Williams Blues coaching staff committed to providing each player with the best training and most enjoyable soccer experience. The camp philosophy is focused on skill development, teamwork and passion for the great game of soccer. Improve your skills through development drills in: passing, control, 1 v 1, combination and crossing, with specific focus on push / chip / instep / outside / top pass, juggling, take on’s, sole manipulation etc. and SAQ’s-ladder, hurdles, bands, poles and run with ball. Goalkeeper training will be incorporated into every daily session. Each session will promote a player’s development through a comprehensive teaching progression allowing the campers to learn every aspect of the game. Players will be grouped according to age must be entering 4th – 9th grade in the fall.

Players need to bring all their own equipment:

  • soccer cleats
  • shin guards
  • goalkeeper gloves (if appropriate)
  • water bottle

Cost: $210 per week

For students entering Grades 4-9

Summer Sticks Lacrosse Camp

Now in its 18th year! Summer Sticks Lacrosse has been identified as one of the top lacrosse camps in the area. An outstanding and highly experienced staff of college and high school players is committed to providing each player with the best lacrosse teaching and most enjoyable lacrosse experience.

The philosophy of the camp is focused on skill development, teamwork, and passion for the “fastest game on two feet.” Nightly sessions will stress individualized instruction in stick handling, shooting and offensive/defensive play. Each session will promote a player’s development through a comprehensive teaching progression allowing campers to learn every aspect of the game. By week’s end, players will participate in team games.

Summer Sticks is a camp appropriate for ALL skill levels from the beginner to the seasoned veteran.  All campers will be grouped according to age, size, and ability, and receive a reversible mesh jersey and an opportunity to win nightly prizes. Must be entering 4th – 9th grade this fall.

Players need to bring all equipment: 

  • Molded cleats and/or athletic shoes are appropriate
  • Boys: lacrosse stick, helmet & mouthpiece, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads
  • Girls: lacrosse stick, eye protection, mouthpiece

Cost: $210 per week

Location: The Williams SchoolAthletic Complex

Time: Evening Session: 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM
