Our exploration of Ronda included a walk in the new city and old city with plenty of time to explore the local business and enjoy a traditional lunch.
Ronda is a city with an historical past dating back to the Moorish rule. Today it is a city known for bullfighting, the impact of the Spanish war on its people, and for a strong influence on Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls. Our group had plenty of time to wander from the new city to the old, hike to lookouts over the Guadalevín River, shopping, and another traditional Spanish lunch.
Late afternoon saw us arrive near Cordoba for a quick walk through the quaint town and a delicious meal served family style.
Tomorrow we are off to see the sights of Cordoba before arriving in Madrid.
