SAT/ACT Prep Course Offered at Williams

Starting in January, Williams students will have the chance to take an SAT/ACT Prep class.
To Sophomores, Juniors, and Parents,

Starting in January, Williams students will have the chance to take an SAT/ACT Prep class on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30PM in the Williams Room. Daryl Capuano, founder of The Learning Consultants, will teach the course. The cost of the course is $495 for 10 sessions, which will include instruction, books, and materials.

Classes will start on the first Tuesday after we return from Winter Break in January, which will prepare students to take the March 9th SAT. The final class in April is meant to give students added preparation for the ACT on April 13th. In case of snow days, students are welcome to attend Mr. Capuano’s Saturday classes at his Old Saybrook office.

The dates of the class are as follows:
Schedule: Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30PM
January 8
January 15
January 22
January 29
February 5
February 12
February 19
February 26
March 5
April 2

Please register your students by December 15th so we have a sense of total numbers for the course. In order to pay for the class by credit card, please go to this link. If you follow the register/payment link, you’ll be brought to a specific button for The Williams School. You are welcome to pay either on The Learning Consultants website or by check. If you wish to pay by check, please email Daryl Capuano for further instructions.

Additionally, the School is happy to order pizza for students before each session. Once we have the overall number of those taking the course, we’ll determine how much pizza to order for each student. Rather than collecting money for food each week, we’ll have a permission slip in the College Office to order food for all 10-sessions. Students should let us know how many slices they would like to eat so that we have a sense of how much we’ll need to order. Once we determine how much to order, we’ll contact each family about food cost. Please make checks out for the pizza to The Williams School. Unfortunately, we can’t refund the amount for those who will be missing sessions. Once parents have registered their students for the course, please email Dana Clark by December 15th about ordering food.

We are looking forward to seeing your students in January!

Warmly,

Jackie Lefebvre, and Dana Clark
Director of College Counseling, and Associate Director of College Counseling
