Sixth Grade Students Visit Florence Griswold Museum
Mr. Emanuel’s sixth grade Local History class visited the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, CT,
Local History students have been studying the life of this remarkable woman and the artists associated with her house, which also functioned as an artists’ colony. Mr. David Rau, Director of Education and Outreach, provided the students with an excellent tour of the Museum.
The Williams School aims to foster the intellectual, moral, aesthetic, and physical development of young women and men in preparation for college, a lifetime of learning, and active participation in a changing society.
